Form List And Basic Settings

The form list is the entry point for form management.

What You Can Do In The Form List

From the list page, you can:

  • search forms by keyword
  • select a form and review its details
  • create a new form
  • edit an existing form
  • copy an existing form
  • enable or disable a form
  • delete a form

Basic Form Settings

When you create or edit a form, the base settings include:

  • Form Name: the user-facing name
  • API Name: the technical identifier used by the runtime
  • Icon: the icon shown in navigation and related UIs
  • Description: the business purpose of the form
  • Enabled: whether the form is available for use

Important Rules

  • System model forms cannot be edited or deleted
  • System model forms are always enabled
  • A form should have one visible and enabled identifier field before it is enabled
  • A disabled form must be disabled before it can be deleted

Copying A Form

When you copy a form, the new form can inherit fields and configuration from the source form.

The copy flow also supports field API name handling, including preserving the original field codes or regenerating them for the new form.

Form Details Pane

After you select a form, the details pane shows:

  • form name
  • API name
  • description
  • created time
  • updated time

It also provides entry points to the design pages for the selected form.
