Deployment Account

Use an existing Control Plane tenant member account with tenant.runtime.deployment.manage. Ask the tenant administrator to provision the account or permission when needed. Platform Operator authentication is separate from tenant member authentication.

Sign in through the CLI before Runtime exists; no Deployment page is required:

sl deployment login --base-url https://api.solncn.com \
  --tenant '<tenant-subdomain>' --email '<member-email>'
sl deployment status --json

The default method prompts for a password. Add --method email for an email verification code. Do not put passwords or codes in command arguments.

  • DEPLOYMENT_PERMISSION_DENIED: ask the tenant administrator for deployment permission.
  • LOGIN_NEXT_STEP_REQUIRED: complete the indicated account step in the Control Plane, then sign in again.
  • Expired session: run sl deployment login again.

The deployment session is saved in ~/.soln/deployment-session.json with mode 0600, separately from the Runtime sl login session.
