Workspace Navigation
The sidebar is the map of the workspace. It has a member area, a management area, and the personal settings of the signed-in member. Which entries appear depends on the space and on the roles and permissions of the current member.
Member Areas
| Area | Content |
|---|---|
| Messages | The aggregated entry of the workspace: messages, approvals, chats, and the channels of apps |
| Visualization | The charts and dashboards that the member may read |
| Apps | The built-in apps of the space, such as approvals, account center, file bag, reminder, and Luna, together with the custom apps |
| Forms | The forms the member may use, each with its list, view, create, and edit pages |
Member areas follow the record permissions of the member. A form that is not visible to the member does not appear in Forms, and its records are not listed, searchable, or openable.
Management Menus
Administrators work from three menus of the management side:
| Menu | Content |
|---|---|
| System | Organization profile, organization structure, resources, roles and permissions, and logs |
| Work | Forms, message templates, datasets, automation tasks, and data cleanup |
| Integration | OpenLink, apps, and Soln Studio |
Management menus are also permission-based. A member without the corresponding feature permission does not see the menu, even when the role grants some of its pages.
Personal Settings
The avatar in the lower left corner of the sidebar opens the personal settings of the member:
- the profile, including the display name and avatar
- the other spaces the member can enter
- linked accounts, the password, and personalization
- the AI key used by external clients
- the software update of the tenant runtime
