Account Settings
Account settings hold the personal settings of the signed-in member: the profile, the other spaces to enter, linked accounts, the password, the look of the workspace, the AI key, and the software version.
Open The Settings Dialog
- Select the avatar in the lower left corner of the sidebar
- Select Settings to open the dialog on the Account panel, or Personalization to open that panel directly
- Switch between panels with the menu on the left of the dialog
On a mobile viewport the dialog slides up from the bottom, and the back button of a panel returns to the account panel.
| Panel | What it holds | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Avatar, name, email, workspace, sign out | Every member |
| My Spaces | The other spaces the member may enter | Every member |
| Linked Accounts | External identity providers | Member accounts |
| Security | Password change | Every member |
| Personalization | Theme, light or dark mode, language | Every member |
| AI Key | API key for external calls | Member accounts when external calls are enabled |
| Software Update | Soln version and upgrade | Full administrators |
Account
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Avatar | Select Change Avatar and pick an image file to replace the avatar |
| Name | The name of the member in the current space |
| Workspace | The name of the current workspace |
| The address that the account uses to sign in | |
| Sign out | Exit Current Session ends the session on this device |
Changing the avatar needs the account to be bound to a member profile. Without one, the dialog reports that the avatar cannot be changed yet.
My Spaces
The panel lists the other spaces that the member may enter.
- The current space is marked as the current space
- Select Enter Space to open another space in a new tab
- Allow pop-ups for this site when the browser blocks the new tab, and try again
- When a space cannot be entered, the dialog reports the reason, for example no access to that space, a space that is not ready, an inactive account, or an expired entry link
Linked Accounts
Free workspace registration determines the tenant market from the originating website and its configured registration entry, without asking the user to choose.
Available identity providers depend on the tenant market (Mainland China or Overseas) and each provider’s configured markets, independently of interface language or visitor IP. An existing account link remains visible if its provider becomes unavailable, and can still be disconnected. It cannot be used for sign-in or a new account link.
Linking an external account lets the member sign in with that account. The external platform verifies the identity during the linking.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Connect | Starts the verification on the external provider; after it returns, the account is linked |
| Disconnect | Removes the link after a confirmation. The external account can no longer be used to sign in |
The panel lists the providers that the workspace configured. When none is configured, it reports that no external identity provider is available.
Security
- Select Send Code; the code is sent to the email of the account
- Enter the 6-digit code, the new password of at least 8 characters, and the same password again
- Select Confirm Change
After the password is updated, other devices are signed out of the account while the current device stays signed in. The panel can resend the code after a countdown.
Only platform accounts, member accounts, and space accounts can change the password here.
Personalization
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Theme | Red, volcano, orange, green, blue, purple, or magenta |
| Mode | System, light, or dark |
| Language | English or Simplified Chinese |
AI Key
This entry appears after an administrator enables external calls for the tenant under Resource Management → Model Usage → External Calls. While disabled, members cannot retrieve or reveal their keys, and existing keys cannot make external model gateway calls.
The AI key panel creates the API key that external calls use for the current account.
- Select Get Key
- Enter the password of the current account and confirm the verification
- Copy the new key from the dialog: it is shown once and cannot be recovered afterwards
- Select Get a new key to replace the key at any time
Generating a key invalidates the current key immediately, and only a member account can use this panel.
Software Update
The panel is visible to full administrators only.
| State | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Up to date | The version of Soln with the latest version label |
| Update available | The version of the new release, its release notes, and the update button |
| Updating | A progress indicator while the runtime is upgraded |
| Failed | An error that points to the upgrade log on the deployment host |
During an upgrade the workspace is briefly unavailable, and the page recovers by itself when the upgrade finishes. When the deployment does not allow an upgrade from the page, run sl upgrade on the deployment host instead.
