Discussion Queries

This category lists the 2 read-only Runtime system commands under system.chat.. Queries enforce the current actor's conversation and business-data permissions. Find the conversation UUID in /workspace-apps/chat/<conversationId>.

The conversation must be a discussion bound to a business record. The actor must be a participant and able to read that record. The relation field must be search or multi_search and target the discussion record’s form; record queries return visible draft, active, and archived records.

1. List discussion messages​

Full name: system.chat.discussion.messages.list

Definition JSON: conversationId (required UUID), keyword (optional, up to 500 characters), beforeSequence (optional digit string), and limit (optional, 1–50, default 30). Use beforeSequence to retrieve earlier messages.

2. List discussion records​

Full name: system.chat.discussion.records.list

Definition JSON: conversationId (required UUID), formApiName (required), relationFieldApiName (required), keyword (optional, up to 500 characters), cursor (optional), and limit (optional, 1–50, default 30). Retrieves discussion records through the specified form and relation field; use the returned cursor for the next page.
