Task records list every data processing job of the current space, including imports, exports, and the background work that record changes trigger.
Open Data Processing, then select Task Records.
Before You Use The List
- Tasks are created by imports, exports, and the background work that record changes trigger; the list is read-only, so a task cannot be canceled here
- The list loads in pages with a cursor, and filters or a new search reload it from the beginning
Check A Job
- Filter by task type and status, or search for the task type, status, form, file, or creator
- Read the row: type, status, form, file, progress (
processed / total), creator, created at, and finished at
- While a task is queued or running, the progress column shows how many rows have been processed
- When an import finishes with failures, Soln generates an error file and delivers it to the file bag; open it to see the failed rows
- A failed export can be re-run from Export Data, and a failed import from Import Data with a corrected file
Verify A Job
- Start an import or an export and go back to Task Records
- Filter by that task type and status; the status moves from queued to running and then to succeeded
- For an import with failures, open the error file from the file bag to see the failing rows
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|
| A task stays queued | The background worker may be busy; refresh the list and check again |
| A task failed | Read the error file or the message, correct the source data, and start the import or export again |
| The newest task is missing | Search by task type, status, creator, or form; large exports and imports appear in the list before they finish |
| Progress does not move | Large files take longer; refresh after a while. If it stays unchanged for a long time, treat the task as failed and re-run it |
