Design Page
The design page is where the message template becomes usable. It combines the related form, message body, field variables, inbox card, card footer action, preview, save, and status actions.
Top Actions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Back | Returns to the template list |
| Select Form | Selects the form whose fields can be inserted into the message |
| Add Field | Inserts a field variable into the current editable area |
| Delete | Deletes the template when it is still a draft |
| Save | Saves the current content and card configuration |
| Enable | Enables a saved draft template after required configuration is valid |
| Deactivate | Deactivates an enabled template so it can be edited or removed |
Related Form
Select a related form when the template needs dynamic values from form data. After a form is selected, its available fields can be inserted into the message content and the footer action target.
Changing the related form removes variables that are no longer valid for the new form. Check the content and footer action after changing the form.
Editable Areas
The left side groups the settings the same way the card is rendered, so each group can be compared with the preview next to it:
| Area | Description |
|---|---|
| Content | Writes the body with rich text tools and field variables |
| Body settings | Shows or hides the body and limits how many lines the card renders |
| Card info | Configures the header icon, the icon background color, an optional custom SVG, and the title text |
| Footer | Sets the footer name and whether the footer strip is displayed |
| Trigger action | Selects what a click opens: content details, an internal route, or an external URL |
| Preview | Displays the card result while editing, with a light/dark switch |
Save And Enable
Save stores the draft configuration. Enable publishes the template for use after validation passes.
Before enabling, confirm that:
| Check | Description |
|---|---|
| Content | The message body is complete and readable |
| Body settings | The body switch and line limit match the intended card height |
| Variables | Inserted variables match the selected form |
| Card Footer | The footer name and trigger action are complete |
| External URLs | External targets use secure URLs |
Card colors need no review step: the fixed palette is applied automatically in both light and dark mode.
