Button Settings

Button Settings are edited in the button drawer.

Basic Settings

Setting	Description
Display Name	The text shown on the button. Custom button names can contain up to 10 characters
Enabled	Controls whether the button is available at runtime
Order	Controls the button order in the same placement and applicable page scope
Display Mode	Controls whether the button is exposed or collapsed
Button Type	Selects task button or interaction button. Preset buttons use task button
Button Style	Sets the visual variant. Available variants depend on placement
Button Color	Sets the button color
Applicable Pages	Selects where the button can appear. Available pages depend on placement

Display Mode

Mode	Description
Exposed	The button is shown directly in its placement
Collapsed	The button is folded into more actions

The list search preset button stays exposed.

Button Type

Type	Description
Task Button	Used for normal operation buttons and preset actions
Interaction Button	Used when the button mainly triggers custom interaction behavior

Changing the button type clears selected scripts in the drawer, because scripts are selected for the current button type.

Style Rules

Available variants depend on placement:

Placement Type	Variant Rule
Batch action placements	Uses text style
Row action placements	Uses link style
Header placements	Does not use text or link style

Button color can be selected independently when the placement allows the style.
