Location fields store structured address and coordinate information. They can keep address parts such as country, province, city, district, street, postcode, and point of interest.
Use a location field when users need to enter or pick an address instead of writing free text.
Basic Settings

| Name | The field label shown to users. It is required and should describe the location clearly |
| API Name | The stable technical name used by data APIs, scripts, formulas, imports, and integrations. It is required |
| Required | Requires users to provide a valid location before the record can be saved |
| Readonly | Shows the location but prevents users from changing it |
| Disabled | Makes the field unavailable for normal use |
| Hidden | Stores the location while hiding it from normal form pages |

| Required Value Parts | Location parts that must exist when the field is required. Coordinates are not included in this setting |
| Validate Trigger | Controls when validation runs: when the value changes, when the field loses focus, or when the record is submitted |
| Invalid Location Message | Custom message shown when location validation fails |
