String

String fields store text values. They are used when a form record needs readable content such as names, codes, labels, descriptions, selected option values, relation identifiers, email addresses, or links.

Choose a string field when the value should be kept and compared as text instead of being calculated as a number, boolean, date, datetime, array, or object.
