Feature Permissions
Feature Permissions control menus, pages, and page-level operations.
Use feature permissions to decide which parts of Soln a role can enter or manage.
Permission Values
Each permission action can be:
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not Configured | The role does not explicitly allow or deny the action |
| Allow | The role grants the action |
| Deny | The role explicitly denies the action |
Use Clear, Allow, and Deny for bulk changes.
Modules
Feature permissions are grouped by module, such as:
- System Management
- Forms
- Visualization
- Integration
- Messages
Use the search box to find resources, modules, actions, or paths.
Parent And Child Rules
Some permissions depend on parent entries.
If the parent menu or page is not enabled, child settings are kept but do not take effect as entry permissions.
For form buttons, some child button settings can be locked when the parent create button is not allowed.
Read-Only Roles
System-managed roles can display feature permissions in read-only mode.
For example, Space Admin uses system-level full permissions, so the permission table is mainly for review.
