Field Permissions
Field Permissions control field-level access for a form resource.
Use field permissions when a role can use a form but should not access every field in the same way.
Open Field Permissions
In Resource Permissions, find a form resource and open the field permission action.
The dialog shows the fields under that form.
Configure Fields
Use the field list to configure permissions for individual fields.
The dialog supports:
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Search Field | Filters fields by keyword |
| Clear | Removes explicit configuration from selected fields |
| Allow | Allows the available field actions |
| Deny | Denies the available field actions |
| Select All | Selects all fields in the current dialog |
Suggested Usage
Start from form-level resource permissions first, then restrict fields only where needed.
For sensitive forms, configure field permissions for personal information, financial data, approval notes, or internal-only fields.
