Resource Permissions
Resource Permissions control business resources such as forms, buttons, and fields.
Use this tab after the role already has the necessary feature entry permissions.
Resource Types
| Resource Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Form | Controls form visibility and form-level actions |
| Button | Controls preset and custom buttons on runtime pages |
| Field | Opens field permission settings for the form |
Form Visibility
Form visibility is important because it controls whether the form entry is available.
When form visibility is denied, button configuration for that form does not make the form usable from the normal entry.
Button Permissions
Button permissions can include preset buttons and custom buttons.
Button placements include list header, list batch, list row, detail header, detail list, create/edit page, child-table actions, and search modal actions.
Resource Filters
Use filters to focus the view:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| All | Shows all resources |
| Configured | Shows resources with explicit configuration |
| Denied | Shows resources with denied actions |
| Inherited | Shows resources without explicit configuration |
Data Policies Entry
For form resources, use Data Policies to configure record-level actions such as view, edit, and delete.
Resource permissions define entry and resource actions. Data policies define which records the role can operate on.
