Checkbox group fields store multiple values chosen from visible checkbox options. Runtime users can see all options directly and select several of them.
Use a checkbox group when the option list is short and multiple choices can apply.
Basic Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Name | The field label shown to users. It is required and should describe the selected values clearly |
| API Name | The stable technical name used by data APIs, scripts, formulas, imports, and integrations. It is required |
| Required | Requires users to choose at least one option before the record can be saved |
| Readonly | Shows selected options but prevents users from changing them |
| Disabled | Makes the field unavailable for normal use |
| Hidden | Stores selected values while hiding them from normal form pages |

| Validate Trigger | Controls when option validation runs: when the value changes, when the field loses focus, or when the record is submitted |
| Field Color | Sets the display color used for the field |
| Invalid Option Message | Custom message shown when one or more selected options are invalid or no longer available |
| Help Text | Helper copy shown near the field. Use it to explain the option set |

| Batch Insert | Adds multiple options at once. Use one option per line, or Label:value when the stored value should be explicit |
