Text And Code Components

Text components can edit content and font size.

QR code and barcode components can use fixed text or template variables. Preview regenerates the code from the current record data.

Supported barcode formats include Code128, Code39, EAN13, and ITF.

Table Components

Table components can bind to child-table data.

Important settings include data source, cell text color, background color, border color, format, alignment, overflow behavior, continuation template, continuation header, and cells.

Merge and split are available when a cell range is selected.

Child-Table Binding

Use Data Source to bind a table component to a child form.

When a table is bound to a child form:

Table PartRuntime Behavior
Header rowRendered as the table header
Template rowRepeated once for each child-table record
Tail rowsRendered after the repeated child rows on the last page

Place child field variables in the template row. For example, use {{itemName}}, {{qty}}, and {{price}} in the cells that should show child-row values.

Use {{__index}} for the row number. Use {{__root.fieldApiName}} when a cell in the repeated row needs a main-form value.

Child-Table Continuation

When child-table rows exceed the available space, the preview can continue rendering rows on another page.

SettingDescription
Continuation TemplateChooses whether continuation rows use the current page or another page as the continuation layout
Continuation HeaderControls whether the table header appears again on continuation pages

Continuation settings are edited from the table settings area after selecting a table. They are available when the table is bound to a child form.
